If all fossil fuels and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect and stop deforestation; then there is only one known annually renewable natural resource that is capable of providing the overall majority of the world's paper and textiles; meet all of the world's transportation, industrial and home energy needs, while simultaneously reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil, and cleaning the atmosphere all at the same time... and that substance is -- the same one that did it all before -- Cannabis Hemp... Marijuana!

*The year is 1937, Lumber Companys are processing alot of paper, and oil companys are on the rise. Imagrants are also a big problem* Hey everyone! I have a great idea!... Lets give the cannabis plant a bad name, Since the people of america are so ignorant they wouldn't even know. What we do is we will start calling this hemp plant "Marijuana" To put a scare in people, because people are afraid of what they don't know. Then We will make this plant Illegal to grow and process, because the hemp plant stalk can be used more efficiantly than lumber, and can cause us to go out of business it also won't waste as much energy as using lumber to make alot of our textile's and goods... And i'm greedy so i don't want that to happen, because I AM the head of the lumber company. Also since no american's know that hemp can be converted to make bio mass fuel, and be used more easily than fossil fuels.... The oil companys will help us outlaw this "Devil Plant." ... Since we have the avalibillity to use the media, we can display the untrue messages to the public, so then we have filled these poor people with misunderstanding, propaganda, and lies.

*Head leader of Alcohol and Tabbaco industry* Hey guy's we will help pay and spread the lies to make this plant illegal, because if people found out the truth about cannabis then they won't want our drugs and addictive substances that kill so many people a year.

So then it's settled, what we are going to do is invest our time and money into making this plant Illegal, EVEN though it was used since the beginning of time, and it is one of the most harmless substances on the face of this planet... We just want to make money.... But who really cares, it won't impact society that much....

Your telling me that so much polution and toxic waste is caused by digging up our fossil fuels, depriving the planet of its blood, and cutting down our forrests?... We are destroying the homes for our animals, depriving people of there rights? Fighting wars over this Plant... and imprisoning 90,000+ americans a year just because of the mistake that we made in the 1930's?.... Wow... And were all paying taxes to keep these "CRIMINALS" In their prisons... Why don't we just solve it all by legalizing the Cannabis Hemp plant?... We could tax it, make everything from clothes to paints to fuel with it... We could use it for MANY diffrent medical uses. It has no side effects but why are we keeping it illegal? Oh wait that's cause so many people have been filled with propaganda and lies, SO many people pay to keep it illegal... RX companys, Tobacco, and alcohol industrys, the governement... We are killing our planet and soon we will all be dead, you want to find a new source of energy and a new source of help?... Legalize Marijuana....
